Honor Credit Union Honor Credit Union will hold interviews for volunteer tellers on Wednesday, November 3rd.  Training will begin Monday, November 8th. Computer Charging Many students have been coming to school with a computer that is not charged.  Please remind your student that Chromebooks must be charged at home before coming to school. Homework reminder Homework each week consists of reading 20+ minutes at home (this can be a library book, magazine, newspaper, online book, etc) and practicing multiplication and division facts 1 through 12.   Student Council If your student is interested in serving as a member of the student council, applications must be filled out and returned to Mrs. Lokey (student council leader) no later than Thursday, October 28, 2021. *Please note students will be required to write and give a speech and not all students will be elected to the council. Honor Credit Union On Thursday, students were informed about the exciting opportunity to volunteer as a teller for Honor Credit Union here at Brown School. Students who are interested must fill out the application that was sent home. Thank you for helping remind your student of this important task! Fall Harvest Costume Celebration Our first celebration of the year is right around the corner! Our fall harvest costume celebration will be on Friday October 29 from 12:30pm-1:45pm. There will be a costume parade around the track for all families to attend (no volunteer form required) at 3:15pm on Friday October 29. Costumes can be worn all day (no gore or weapons). We ask that anything that may be distracting to the school environment be saved for home celebrations. Students must wear masks along with their costume  (not costume masks alone) .   Bucks For Brown Our Bucks for Brown Fundraiser continues through this week! Don't forget to send in those orange donation forms!! Thank you so much for supporting Brown School; please send in the orange sheet along with donations in order for your child to receive a special bracelet.   (If donations were made online you may just send in the orange sheet and mark the donated online box).
