  Hi Families! We certainly felt the change in seasons this past week with the dip in temperatures and the many days of rain. I know we are all looking forward to the amazing weather that is returning this week! As we begin our 4th full week of school, I can't thank you all enough for your patience, flexibility and partnership.   Hello Families! It was another fantastic week in our classroom! Your students are amazing and it has been so nice to get to know them. This week we have been working very hard to learn our school and classroom routines, procedures and expectations.  Building a Classroom Community/Class Family: Building a classroom community is the very first thing we do in my classroom and something we continue to build throughout the entire school year; in our classroom, we call ourselves a class family.  Having a strong classroom community is important to me as it helps students to feel valued and also connected to myself and their classmates while learning many important social skills including responsibility and independence. My goal is to have students feel empowered and invested within our classroom and towards their learning.
